Oak barriques coupage
In this experience, we link a visit to the vineyard and the activity of “Oak barriques coupage” in the Winery.
Do you want to feel like a real winemaker? We will show you how to distinguish between French and American oak in a sea of barrels, and you yourself will create your own “coupage”
The activity begins “In The Vineyard” , where you will discover the White and Red Varieties, the importante of the soil, the climate or the secrets of our area. “In The Vineyard” you will taste David Moreno’s White wine. Moreover, you will feel the Vineyard “in situ”.
The visit goes on with a walk through our stone and clay cellars, where you will discover the corners of the winery and you will do the activity of “Oak barriques coupage”.
As a perfect end, in our Wine Shop, you will taste 2 wines with a Rioja snack.
And if you wish to HAVE LUNCH IN THE WINERY.
If you decide to keep on living this Rioja experience and stay to have lunch in our cellar dining room, we will surprise you with the best of our local gastronomy.

VISIT
Ten minutes will be enough.
24 people unless you have booked a private group visit.
Given the current Covid 19 situation, our capacity, for the safety of our visitors has been reduced to the 50%. So the maximum number of visitors for experience is 12 people.
Despite the fact that our facilities are wide and we always respect the 2 metres distance, we have enable some outdoor spaces so the visitor can also enjoy our winery with the best convenience.
Tempranillo Visit: 90 minutes approx.
Premium visit: 105 minutes approx.
“In the Vineyard” visit: 120 minutes approx.
Experiences: 210 minutes approx.
In the cellars, and despite the small variations depending on the season, the temperature is fresh, 16ºC approximatelly, this is why we recommend to bring some coat even if it is summer if you are walking through the cellars.
The rest of our facilities, reception, wine shop, restaurant, are heated so there is no need to bring extra clothes for those areas.
The wine tasting will be made standing, but in case you need it, our team will be able to give you a sit.

CHILDREN
The winery is completely accesible for carriers or wheel chairs. Our cellars and the rest of the facilities are ready. The access to the restaurant has a ramp. You will not have any problem to make that way with a baby carrier or wheel chair.
We have changing table for babies.
Yes, our staff will help you with this issue.
While the adults are attending the wine tasting, the children will be able to be in a place next to, where they will be able to watch TV (kids channels) and also draw and play with games related to the world of wine.
If the children are grown up, they will be able to go to the garden or porch, always when the adults with them authorize it and under their responsability.
ACCESSIBILITY
The winery is available for handicapped during the whole tour.
The toilet is not reachable for handicapped, it is a project that will soon be ready.
Yes, our staff will take care of it and will give it back to you after the visit.
Yes, dogs are welcome to Bodegas David Moreno, but for compulsory sanitary reasons, dogs will not be able to be inside the winery to make the tour. Dogs will remain at our porch or garden and our staff will provide them with water.
