Vado de la Reina Viñedo Singular is the result of exhaustive work in the vineyard, a faithful reflection of the winery’s philosophy, whose maxim is the quality of the grapes and the constant care of the wines.

A Limited Edition of 7,500 bottles, whose 2018 vintage conveys the personality of a land, the passion and the essence of know-how. It is the gift of vines over 90 years old, where the best Garnachas grow. Own vineyards of Badarán (Alto Najerilla), strictly selected vineyards; low production, under the figure “Viñedo Singular” Maximum Category of Rioja, and which are located at 645 meters of altitude.

Vado de la Reina honours especially the women of the Moreno family, this is the first single varietal red wine.

Vineyards, weather and soil

The special situation of the vineyards, its antiquity, limited load, strength and growth of the Garnacha in the heart of Rioja Alta, make Vado de la Reina a wine where the characteristics of the variety and terroir are above all.
This winery is classificated with the new definition of “Viñedo Singular”.

The clima with Atlantic Sea influence, with cold winters, warm summers and long and soft falls, give a slow maduration which is perfect to get the virtues that we look for in the grape and that give to this wine all its balance and elegance.

A Limited Edition of 3,996 bottles, whose first vintage, 2017, conveys the personality of an Earth, the passion and the essence of know-how. It is the gift of the vines of more than 80 years, where the best Garnachas grow. Badarán vineyards, strictly selected payments; low production, hosted by the new figure of Rioja, “Singular Vineyard”, and which are located at 645 meters of altitude. The special situation of the vineyards, their age, limited load, vigor and development of the Garnachas from Alto Najerilla, in the heart of Rioja Alta, make Vado de la Reina a wine where the characteristics of the Variety and Terroir prevail over on top of everything

Tasting Notes

Color: The colour and tonality of this wine, bright purple with medium intensity, show the personality of the high altitudes Garnacha.
Aroma: In the nose it is very intense, with gooseberries, raspberries and wild strawberries in a perfect balance with the notes from the French oak barrique that respects the variety giving to it fine and subtle toasted aromas.
Mouth: In the mouth it shows a great fruit expression, being a dense and unctuous wine. It is very elegant in its way and it has a magnificent end.

Up to 12 bottles: 10 euros
From 13 to 24 bottles: 15 euros
3 to 4 cases of 12 bottles: 20 euros
5 to 9 cases of 12 bottles: 24 euros

It depends on the destination. For big cities, 48 hours approximately. For smaller locations, 5 labour days maximum. On special dates, busier times like Christmas or Black Friday, the estimations may be modified.

It is important that the wine is checked at the moment of the reception, and in case there is some incidence, notify to the transport. We will take care of the problem and send again the order.

 

Our wines go perfectly protected in cases of 6 or 12 bottles. When there are smaller orders, of 1, 2 or 3 units, we pack the bottles minding that they will not suffer any damage.

BUYING

Once the purchase is made, and as long as the returned product is in perfect condition, you can return an order. The costs are assumed by the client.
